Kittra & Band Circa 1983. Lip-synched, horrible quality, cheapo video but it was truly a killer band. I ran away to Nashville only a few months later. Chris Hillman then became the lead vocalist and they became known as "The Desert Rose Band" with many hits to follow.
Can you believe how darling Jorgenson is? He looks 16 but I think he was about 23?

  • My...My...Louise Mandrell does have a look-a-like. WOW! She's a real cutie but is lacking a bit with the moves. Good sounding band however!.

Please don't misunderstand..I didn't mean you can't dance, what I should have said and more appropriately, I meant you really had little room to make any moves..if you know what I mean? I am a country radio DJ and play a lot of the Desert Rose Band, my listeners also seem to like Keep on doing what you do. Good luck in the future and never give up.

  • i love this one... how cool and fun...

  • Hey Kittra,

I saw the "reunited" DRB at the Coach House last Thursday night. Awesome. First time I've heard John play with them. He was awesome, but so were all of them, Bill, Steve, Jay Dee, Herb and Chris. Just a pheonemal show all the way around.

BTW - whatever happened to Bob Knight? I didn't have a chance to ask John about him. And did you know Cody Bryant by chance when you were in L.A.?
