This is a video from Dogpatch USA, an abandoned theme park in northern Arkansas. The video is actually from the ticket center and parking area of Dogpatch and what is now Marble Falls, AR. This video is from 2004, and it's a long story as to why there's no video inside the actual park.

Note - DO NOT ATTEMPT TO ENTER DOGPATCH. Dogpatch is privately owned and has 24 hour security on guard in the actual park. The part where this video is filmed is now inhabited by a biker community known as The Hub. If you attempt to see Dogpatch for yourself and end up arrested or injured, then you're an idiot. Thanks!

  • it isn't hard to get around at all but you better do it soon they have been working on it so i donno if they are gonna tear it down or build it up... hahaha but it is simple to get around any one here could show you even me ;)

  • Let me take this opportunity to again remind anyone looking at this that they should not attempt to enter the park. There is someone living on the grounds now. As far as I understand, they're attempting to get the park cleaned up and re-open it for some purpose (non-amusement park). They will and have prosecuted trespassers, so be warned.

  • Bring on the Kickapoo Joy Juice! Man, I loved that stuff. L'il Abner and Daisy Mae. Mammy and Pappy Yocum. Summers in the Ozarks. :-)

  • Lol, you'd have been better off using Silent Hill music for the theme, rather than Metroid :D

  • this is a sad site I visited the park ever year seems like as a kid. We live 70 miles east of memphis and that was our vacation, going to Dogpatch. I still have cups and alot of items with the dogpatch logos. I last visited in 1989 or 1990. We keep a 3 year old I wish it was still open we would defently take him he would love it.

  • Have they done anything with the park yet? Also what was it that was living on the grounds?

  • This is a true tragedy. How could people let this place go!

  • does anyone remember the goofy trash cans? hahaha

  • We went there in 1979 for my ninth birthday. I remember the creepy trash suckers!!! Sad to see it like this. I believe the Lil' Abner comics are still running in some Arkansas newspapers.

  • Uuh! yes that is why I am so intrigued by this as I did work there in it's heyday!

my first job was to greet the guest and operate the funicular down to the park and then I operated the gravity barrel (the floor dropped out)
