Chinese calligraphy painting by Jing Yan (slides)

Master Yan also conducted a seminar during her exhibition period. She talked about her strict training at one of China's top art schools and emphasizes the patience, goal, and vision in doing a great landscape, especially in mixing colors with righ amount of water, brush strokes, and mostly the important connection between Chinese calligraphy and painting. The seminar was conducted at the DCCCC.

Sorry no videos were taken for Ms. Yan's seminar and onsite demonstration. There are many, many Chinese painters and calligraphers in Dallas, plus an association of of 30 to 50 Americans specialing in Chinese and Japanese brush painting.
