@Steveguyatrocket Western society operates in that manner. They love categorizing and stereotyping through looks, personality, or whatever superficial presentation. In the East it's all about competitiveness not superficial things although it's changing a little bit.
Cho I don't know this kid but it's hard trying to adjust to new culture. In the East they like guys silent but deadly. In the west they like guys to be outgoing and friendly. Feminizing of men from what I can see.

My heart goes out to all those killed that day and their grieving families... but I must say that I feel we did have 100 billion chances and ways to have avoided that day - from not cancelling classes after the first shooting, to his signs of mental instability, to his writings, threats, red flags every one of them.

It's very humiliating for the people of South Korea and to the Seoul government. Very embarassing.

so long as Society plays "Winners & Losers", there will be someone appearing to teach Society that its Ethos is vapid. NOT THAT I AGREE WITH CHO ! But, as long as Society operates in such a manner.....
