I was actually inspired to do this entry as my car almost died on my way to class a few weeks ago! I wanted to make something realistic in my everyday life; dancin' in the streets is very common ;) I went back to my old neighborhood in the Hispanic Community of Salem, MA (AKA Da' Point) where I was born and raised and felt like life, no matter what the circumstance, was always one big party!! With all that I do in the entertainment world it was very important to me to involve close friends and family as well, and not only my professional dancers who are seen with me all the time (Although a few did make cameos hehe) Zumba® is such a wonderful program that is geared towards EVERYONE. I wanted to make sure that I demonstrated that anyone and anyone can be successful with the Zumba® Fitness Program. Not everyone in the video was cast and rehearsed. Some of the people you see were actually hanging around watching the shoot take place and decided that they wanted to join in!! That was so amazing!!! Huge thanks to all of my friends , family, students and supporters who helped make this happen. HUGE thanks to my Photographer and longtime friend Stewart Smith for making his acting debut. He is always behind mixed in the behind the scenes action and this was his time to shine ;) Thanks to my very talented crew Robert Morton (director/producer) and Matt Charette. For working their magic. Thanks to the cast...
