As much as I agree with you all, lets not forget that it's not about the singer, it's about the one being sung about, Jesus! I love her too, but she only was able to sing because of the anointing on her life and ministry.

Amen, yes she is the greatest gospel voice of the times. I was 3 when she died and I have listened to her music for many years. She touches my soul.
