I have the a16dms on a nubira 2. how much does this filter cost?

did your vehicle throw an emissions code after install?

I seem to remember it came out pretty easy using a set of pliers or something.. FYI the rubber grommet does not exactly fit the new tube, but will fit in there.. just not all the way. If the hole is drilled out a bit more it might fit better, but I never messed with it. It fits plenty tight.... albeit maybe a bit more shallow in the tube than it should be.

thats all true but lets be real about this if the same cold air was going into the long tube of a cai and short ram which one would keep the coolest temp before getting to the engine and which one flows easier with the least resistance?

cold air intakes give more hp than short ram FYI
for those of you looking for comparisons
cold air intakes better for high rpm gains, short ram for low rpm range
cold air give a little more hp than short

I got this for my dodge avenger '00 v6
stock 167 hp i think
i got the cold air intake from chrome intakes
works amazing, sounds really beefy, and looks great
probably between 5-10 hp increase for me
no exhaust upgrade yet
lots of little upgrades, plugs, wires, etc... the usual
Do you think it would fit on an 09?

@cheekers86 Check them out on e-bay. I would think there is a very good chance since I doubt the engine compartment in your car looks much different.

Check out my other vids.. I replaced the "bread box" rear muffler with an Apexi rear muffler. I replaced the intake and the muffler at the same time. I dyno'd the car right after and it makes roughly 7 hp more now than stock. I also replaced the plugs with E3's before the dyno. YES I can tell it made a difference. MPG improved too. If I replaced the rest of the exhaust it would probably make a bigger difference, but I didn't want to make it too loud.. that is what my race day car is for.
