Where does water come from? Was it always present on the Earth or is it slowly added to the Earth as time passes on? Is there any evidence which supports current theories? Well watch and see.

  • > Cont 3... and caused oxygen levels to get today's lower 21% from plant life being reduced by less land to grow on because of the increase in water on 2/3 of Earth's surface that was mostly land prior to this global flood. A flood that was caused by plant life itself growing on the prior larger land surface areas by creating too much oxygen that mixed with hydrogen from the Sun and created the large water amounts we have today... What do you think?

  • @WILLTHEWGMAN Very interesting. Did you know that the oxygen in Earth's atmosphere was once in much greater amounts, according to the oxygen isotopes in rock samples. The levels suddenly dropped. If the Earth was hit by chunks of hydrogen from the sun it would have mixed with the oxygen causing the oxygen levels in the atmosphere to rapidly drop. I also read that oxygen is produced by cyanobacteria, maybe the Earth's early high levels of oxygen was not produced by plants but by ancient bacteria.

  • > Cont 2 ... new atmosphere. When plant life formed, oxygen increased as more hydrogen came from the Sun. This would have all cycled and increased water amounts allowing for more plant life to live. Most say that Earth's early non-plant life was larger and/or lived longer because of higher levels of oxygen and a thicker atmosphere blocking solar radiation. This thicker atmosphere may have held much more hydrogen and oxygen. This could have flooded the Earth, killing much of the life,... Cont >

  • @WILLTHEWGMAN The only explanation for the large plants and animals is not only because of the amount of oxygen but also because the Earth was smaller with less mass thus gravity was weaker allowing animals & plants to grow larger. Imagine the amount of stress on the bones of a Argentinosaurus weighing over 120 tons? If gravity were less it would not restrict growth as much. To test the hypothesis of oxygen levels being the enlargement factor it can be reproduced in the lab & it can not.

  • .. Besides tests show that humans live longer in an environment with less oxygen. People live longer in higher altitudes with lower concentrations of oxygen. Oxygen is a reactive element which causes decay. The higher the oxygen levels the quicker the reaction or decay happens. Animals would not have a very long life span with higher oxygen levels thus they would not have been able to grow to such sizes in my opinion. If the Earth was smaller the same volume of atmosphere would be thicker.

  • ... There needs be another factor which allowed the animals, insects & plants, to grow to such sizes besides the oxygen level theory. I believe someone should test this hypothesis by growing ferns in a controlled environment with the same % of oxygen in the air as was determined when plants grew larger. I believe that the plants will flourish and grow but the leaves will be the same size as other plants today thus proving there needs be another factor which allowed them to grow so big.

  • @GateMessenger - why do you think that is why mountain dwellers live longer?! it's because the air tends to be less polluted the higher up you go, and because they are fitter from being able to survive on lower oxygen levels. maybe you mean something else, but things like oxygen therapies are known to make people healthier, disease tends to be caused by having lack of oxygen. pathogens thrive in no-oxygen.

however, too much above 20% atmospherically means the air would burn, and most life dies.

  • @rc8rsracer - it does makes sense that the universe can be born from a singularity point like the big bang, however it's as obvious that it is then made from something pre-extant. what this is is kind of like a void with some pure energy leaking in or having first originally exploded-imploded into being, the manner in which that takes place determines which type of physics it runs to, eg this one is things that revolve around other things as its basic structure.

  • Interesting theory. Worth to consider.

  • @wotdoesitmatter the big bang is retarded just think about it... infinately hot, dense, and small. thats just retarded
