You could use Popsicle sticks for the fence I use it for my Barbie garden fence

Thanks for sharing the video ~ Tomorrow is Dec. 1st already so I am limited on my time with building this for my 7 yr old. Excited to get going! Out to Lowe's today! If you ever wanted to finish the railings, I think that a hobby store would sell the ballesters already pre-made. My daughter wants stairs or an elevator (ya right) - going with the stairs. The barbie dreamhouse has an elevator so that's what she keeps asking for, but the house is so small her furniture won't fit! Wish me luck!!!

@americantomboy77 I had ambitions to do stairs too! But I was short for time and scrapped the idea. What I might do now is build and add stairs and re-kindle the play value in the house. I have seen pre made ballesters but I couldn't justify buying them as their cost was higher than the whole house since I had scrap wood and my only cost was about $10 bucks for the textured card stock and about $5 for the tiles. I might make something out of popsicle sticks. I can get a bunch of those at the $1-

Trying to figure out a way to make a short and wide Barbie house for my daughter. She has slanted ceilings in her room so it can't have much height. I'm thinking an old bookshelf on it's side. Any ideas?
