@scottypd54 The US standards of living are based on the amount people spend on luxuries and unmentionables; being able to buy imported cars and deep-fried beer cans is not an indicator of a higher standard of living. The US also has higher "obese" population compared to anywhere else, and health care is nearly non-existent. The US is great, but it's not THAT great.
