Say goodnight, not goodbye (cover) ...for Paul

This cover version of Beth Nielsen Chapman´s beautiful song "Say goodnight, not goodbye" is dedicated to my dearest friend Paul who lost his mum this March.

I´ve known him for more than 2 years and found one of the nicest people on earth in him, one of the most caring, genuine and funniest blokes I´ve ever met (even if not in person).

I know this won´t mend your broken heart, Paulie, but it´s the least I can do to show my love and sympathy and it´s coming straight from the heart...

Of course this song goes out as well to everyone who lost someone dear.

I have always loved this song, but now it holds a new meaning to me. Every night when I would leave for work , I would day " night, mom. See you in the morning."

That was the last thing I ever said to my mom. I now have that saying tattoed on my back as a reminder that we are going to see each other again one day. It was goodnight, not goodbye.
