every revolution needs its manifesto.

ron paul tells us that we must change our philosophy of the proper role of government in our lives. most people don't realize how radical his libertarianism really is, and how it targets the real centers of power in our society. in this manifesto, i seek to elaborate on paul's libertarian philosophy and give it voice, in a time of rampant monopolistic capitalism and state socialism when it is so desperately needed. i contrast two fundamental conceptions of human nature--one based on the enlightenment belief in the dignity of man, and one based on the irrational Freudian unconscious--and show their political and social consequences.
