@tardis32 ok you win on this point! both agree it does not sound like italodisco, odd though, what is so surprising about 80s tunes is there are so many sounds flying around, that is what i like about this era, it is certainly very exciting music sounds

@tardis32 I agree eurobeat came out later, don't disagree with that, however just because it came out later did not mean that it didn't exist earlier in 1980, and synth sounds had been going around from 1980 too. This may have been marketed as italodisco, but if you listen to the melody i guess it was eurobeat and italo synth. I find a lot of tracks get put into wrong genres as people put the sounds where they think fit. What do others think, or have i got it totally wrong, with my ears

@djmusicjac "Eurobeat Italo Synth"?? What?? This is Italo Disco. Eurobeat didn't come about until the late 80's. This label released all Italo Disco.

@tardis32 heard it again and confirms what i thought, the melody and vocals remind me a lot like the nightmare tunes and passion tunes which were eurobeat and i can defo hear synth. This is nothing like the italodisco i rate as italodisco. Perhaps a lot of italodisco is actually eurobeat but not given the title eurobeat as the genre didnt come out till later. What do others think italodisco or earlier eurobeat with synth????

@djmusicjac Maybe you mean Euro Disco? Eurobeat did not really start until 1987 and had much higher BPM than this. Even 1983 is way too early for any Eurobeat at all. I agree that this does not sound like 1985 Italo Disco, but it's considered early Italo on a label that exclusively released Italo Disco.
