September 11th 2001, World Trade Centre, NYC

While researching for a project I had to trawl through all the internet footage I could find on the 9/11 World Trade Centre attacks. This is all the most legible footage I could find, spliced together in a 2 and a 1/2 minute byte. It starts with the cockpit broadcast of Flight United 93 and ends with the collapsing towers coming down on the firefighters. I also spliced in some of the voices of people on the line to 911 when the first tower collapses. These really hit me more than the images and added to the overall impact of the events on that day. I made this to remind people of what happened that day and in the hope that we can all communicate with each other in ways that do not cost lives. It is not intended to demonise, or make heroes of anyone. I feel that no one is inherently good or evil, but we are defined by our actions, regardless of race and origin. The footage is intended to be viewed from an objective standpoint, and it will depend on the individual as to the interpretations of the events on that day. Be warned that this contains some disturbing scenes. Any comments, both praises or critical are helpful.

Its not mentioned anywhere that 93 hit the towers. It was used because its the only recording of the hijackers voices and intentions.
