The Haunting of Rockyknowe

Synopsis:

Chris Marshall has lived at Rockyknowe all of his life in peace. Recently though the house has been the home to all sorts of paranormal activity. The lights have been switching off at irregular times, objects have been moved, locked doors have been miraculously opened and an overall presence has been noticed. Chris has told his friend Stuart about all that has happened and everything he knows about the previous occupant of the house; An old hermit who hated strangers and was enraged at the thought of someone entering his home. Stuart is skeptical of believing that there is any such thing as a ghost. Soon though, they will both do more than simply believe in it. They will both fear it.

I had expectations for this. And I'm very sorry to say that those expectations were lower than the final product. That was bloody brilliant. Really enjoyed it. Special effects were spaced out and well done, the atmosphere, the most important part, was spot on. Acting was good for the simple reason that neither of you tried anything elaborate, you just acted like yourselves, making the whole process easier.

Very well done and a brilliant start for Final Act Films.

OMG, the attic scene is the first time i've been scared by a film since i was like 12!

And i like that the camera work was better than what we all saw in 'Paranormal Activity'.
