Beautifully filmed, clearly written and enjoyable to watch, One Childhood tells the extraordinary story of how the nation of Eritrea supports the development of its children throughout their childhood - seemlessly linking early child development and school health programs, delivered in even the most inaccessible communities by a strong partnership between the education and health teams.

One Childhood is an unforgettable portrait of a people taking control over their own lives and future by ensuring good health and good education throughout their one childhood.

    EthioProdigy,

It's funny how one click on your profile could reveal your true color.

Your profile shows you support the invasion and occupation of Somalia by the genocidal terrorist woyane regime, and you condone the rape and murders of underage Somali girls in the hands of the pedophile TPLF forces.

We, Eritreans, know very well that not anyone who uses an Eritrean alias is an Eritrean, and YOU have proven to being an inferiority complex stricken agame as your profile clearly indicates.

The journey of mankind, starts with the first fews teps.

Yes, life is full of trying times. But pioneers, who can see the light across the tunnel, believing in human spirit of beating ALL odds & over coming difficulties, always chart their own destiny.

Eritrea, remains classical example of human spirit in successfully overcoming odds.

Critics will always condemn the journey, but "the camel marches on till the end of the destiny, while the dogs always bark".

I dare you to prove me wrong!!!

It is amazing to see a country coming together to eradicate children's death by simply offring easy enough programs at schools to also how rge system.Adapt to every community segments' lifestyle and go above and beyond to treat all that is treatable almost as soon as it is suspected. The Sara program is also nothing short of a success!! tis is a perferctexample of a country poor, and on the verge of almost extinction through war had worked hard to create double functioning teachers!! my respect!

I made two typos or shall I say mispells on my previous comment that I became aware of now. 1) PREMEDITATING instead of premeditiating 2) INFRASTRUCTURE instead of infrastracture. Anyway I also wanted to add what Saleh Meky left was a great legacy but he was not alone in this endeavor as one can see these determined, eager, selfless, young teachers giving it their all as seen on this video footage. I have always admired and held in high esteem those who give their all for the sake of others. HA!

The works and efforts of people such as Saleh Meky will never go forgotten...this is a great example of how a country in AFRICA can overcome great odds such as hostile neighbors and ill premeditiating Western Super Powers by standing on its OWN and starting a viable INFRASTRACTURE for itself and its people's future. We can see here how EDUCATION is of great importance (as it should be throughout of AFRICA) if we are to get out of the pit that mosty others dug for us!!!HALURAH~HARULAH!!!XXX>>>...

    R.I.P. Saleh Maki

Minister Saleh Maki is featured on this remarkable video for his contribution to the amazing success of Eritrean school children enjoying first-class educational opportunities and health care.

The legacy of Minister Saleh Maki is the memory of a great self-less man who gave so much and sacrificed so much for these children and the inheritance of a great example.

Minister Saleh Maki will forever live on in these children whom he loved and cared deeply.
