The Hawaii Senate Judiciary and Government Operations Committee hears testimony on the Civil Union Bill on Feb. 24, 2009. Over 1,300 residents showed to testify. Testimony ran for over 15 hours. The bill stalled in the committee with a split vote and must be pulled from the panel if it is to continue in the Senate.
