March Of The Industrial Spiders

The audio started as an attempt at a horror soundtrack for some footage of spider webs from trip in July, but evolved into some sort of freaky dubstep death march bit.

This was my first attempt at a "song" with no traditional percussion sounds. Big step for a dumb ol' drummer

On that trip we rented a house at Deep Creek Lake in Maryland, it was surrounded with flood lights that drew swarms of gnats and some industrious spiders. Great filming opportunity. Unfortunately I was half asleep by dark, such a party animal; didn't get the footage I should have.

The title alone pulled me in., and the song couldn't have been better. This is the stuff of nightmares. Hell, I'd be remiss if I didn't tell you that I think this is brilliant! The heavy sound (compounded with my personal / irrational fear of spiders) leaves me looking what could best be described as that figure in Munch's "The Scream"; you weave a hypnotic web. 5*****

@BloodTrucksandBeer Thank you! It's funny you left such a nice comment on the vid I was hoping to improve upon... We just got back from another trip to that same house. I was all set to brave the little monsters again, but all of the floodlights that attracted them had been taken down; for obvious reasons I suppose. Thank you again.

yea this is acually really nice, been looking for people who have been into MUSIC and VIDEO play...
