@Keyboardman88 -No Gary- the Crusaders did the original (with Larry Carlton on guitar) in 1972! AWB did a cover version, and added lyrics.

@fnkdrmmr ...I see you are a fellow album credit reader. And, yep, Ray's name was all over LOTS of albums in the early-to-mid 70s. He was legend even before he went out on his own. It's just too damn bad that most people only know him as "the guy who did 'Ghostbusters.'"
Ray Parker Jr is one of the most underrated guitarist ever. This dude was actually one of Barry Whites guitarist with the Love Unlimited Orchestra at one time. a studio musician before doing his own thing
