Make A Difference Day 2011. Volunteers came together and worked on the following projects:

Pack School Supplies for the Children of Haiti
Help FAIRFAX FAMILIES4 KIDS pack school supplies for the children of Haiti. The goal is to provide school supplies for 100 children of Grace Village, Port-au-Prince, Haiti. The items for the Children of Haiti will be mailed via partnership with Arise & Walk Foundation and Grace International of Haiti. A suggested donation list is on the back.

Mott Computer Clubhouse Reorganization
Mott Computer Clubhouse is part of the Intel Computer Clubhouse Network located in Fairfax County, Virginia, with a cluster of six other clubhouses in the county. Clubhouses in Fairfax County are supported by the Equal Footing Foundation from Northern Virginia Technology Council, Fairfax County, and the computer clubhouse network. Volunteers are needed to help in the new layout of the clubhouse. You will have the opportunity to improve the appearance of the clubhouse. No technology or computer experience is necessary.

Donation Drive for the Fairfax County Animal Shelter
The Animal Shelter always needs and appreciates your donations. Won't you take a moment to help the less fortunate animals in your community? Mott Community Center will be sponsoring a donation drive for the Fairfax County Animal Shelter. This program is to help feed and take care of animals that either need socialization, treatment for an illness, or just some extra time to adjust to the shelter environment.
