You should hook up a cd player to this and try direct the signal towards the arc generator

for the U tube at the end, it was brighter in the camera because the camera can see UV light and your eyes cant. A camrea sees UV as a white-ish color. And all you can see is the visible low nm light (purple)

see my video response - the parallel conductors dont need to be magnets, I just used round steel plates and a 15kv/30ma NST. What is the amperage out of the car ignition transformer there?
