@Drudwinder why don't i just listen to it instead because that's how people develop artistic preferences? you failed in your retort to even make sense. what does me playing this piece have anything to do with how i listen to it? Owned noob.

@Hamgammy Why don't you try and play this piece and then make your own generalizations about artistic preferences, "noob."
-
@Drudwinder cry more noob. i think it sounds awesome. personal preference.

Anne Akiko Meyers plays it too rough for my taste. I prefer the sweet ol' Hilary Hahn version :D

@2007wesman Do you mean the one at 2:02?
-
@winrx Yea, I LOVE this interpretation, its much more musical IMO than when its played up to tempo.
-
Hey, they all ended together - that's all that counts lol. But seriously, that was a beast of a performance by Kiko right down to the very last note!
-
Lol, there was a trumpet solo in this piece, can you find it? Otherwise, epic performance.

not a brilliant orchestra, but not that bad. i've played the solo part and the first fiddle part (not in the same concert); this movement is extremely difficult for the orchestra, note-wise, and all the changing meters and rhythms. kind of funny at 3:19 - the trumpet player decided to play a one note solo. kudos to Anne for actually hitting every note of that last e-flat minor arpeggio, and the top A.
