@callmepyro The coyote's natural predator is the wolf. And there are others(alligator,lions).In my neck of the woods there are no wolves and haven't been since the 1930s when they were hunted to extinction due to livestock concerns(British crown).The coyote got lucky when it introduced itself to the island of newfoundland because man had gotten rid of the wolves 50 years earlier.Now they have had significant effect on the numbers of the caribou herds,and coyote #s are not as easy to eradicate.
