@Doomware I meant the one in the Ishimura, I know the second one was actually manufactured from I believe some of the pieces, which would also explain why it reacted differently when the necromorphs flocked to it and Isaac went into the machine

@knixx666 well, there are several markers, which one are you talking about?
The one in this comic/series and DS1 are the same, but the one in DS2 is a different one entirely.

@knixx666 Yeah, the Red Marker in the game also functions differently than it does in the comic/movie. In the movie whenever you get close to it, the necromorphs can't get to you creating an area known as "dead space" (hence the name of the game). That isn't in the game though and the marker is also smaller to balance the game.
