Motorcycle.com recently got the opportunity to tour the company's three facilities on Buell Drive with none other than Erik Buell himself. Just 170 employees are responsible for the entire operation, and Mr. Buell joked during the tour, Ducati has more people in their race department than I have in my whole company!

The original was a 2-stroke, which is no longer really feasible for road-going machines.

Personally I don't care how much slower my 1125R is in a straight line since straight lines are BORING. Curves are what I desire and the Buell eats them up.

if the original buells had 150 hp why didnt they keep up that trend along with the current buells torque...then we wouldnt hear all the time about how much slower the buells are than the jap bikes in a straight line...
