We should have only ever agreed to these for bombs or weapons. If the scanner picks anything else up then it shouldnt be prosecuted by law. Just another liberty freedom taken away from us. Are you seriously that stupid? Really? You don't know the difference between opposing screening, and specific methods? It is not hypocritical to support a goal, and oppose a means of achieving it - like opposing the scanners, but not the metal detectors... not that you have the mental capacity to understand that.

Blindly believing these things are so necessary that without them you'll blow up in your next flight, without any scientific, or logical analysis to prove it, shows if not living in fear the tendency to buy into paranoia. but the long term or cumulative radiation-effects on cells from these devices have not been studied....you can't say what you are saying with certainty. these devices are not being used by medically or scientifically trained professionals. they also slam the entire skin, not just an area of the skin like when exposed to environmental radiation. if you don't want melanoma or dna-damage you would be wise to opt-out or not fly.

do the right thing and stand up to the tsa. all you have to do is tell them you disagree and opt out of the scanners. the pat downs are not as bad if you cooperate and tell them you disagree. Ideally they wouldn't have to pat you down, but until someone changes the law there's not much we do. Obama has officially endorsed this, so he definitely is to blame. Hopefully my complaints I've filed with the civil liberties union will help. I'm also military. Screw this crap...
