Little tip; 8-bit doesn't mean "no shading on the sprites". Lazy, poor, I should flag this for grotesque images because it made me sick to watch.

Poorly edited mega man 2 sprites and someone else's 8 bit version of the MGS theme.
You DO understand that there WERE 8-bit metal gear games, right?
They were called Metal Gear, and Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake. These were made for the MSX2, a computer that was actually less powerful than the NES. That is why Metal Gear is a stealth game, it was a way to make an action game that took up less processing power than a game like Contra.
Or Metal Gear Solid for the Gameboy Color.
