SOCMTBR - trailsurfing to Coto De Caza trail.

Wagon Wheel Canyon-Pheasant Run-Oak Canyon Loop.

Riley Wilderness Park in Wagon Wheel Canyon is a wildlife sanctuary south of Rancho Santa Margarita. The 475-acre park was part of a cattle ranch until 1983, when Orange County acquired the land. The park has two stream-fed canyons, rolling hills, and two overlooks. The seasonal creeks are lined with Western sycamores and ancient coastal live oaks, while coastal sage scrub and grasslands carpet the hills. Skink Vista Overlook and Horned Toad Vista Point offer views of the surrounding landscape from the open canyons and dense tree groves to the mile-high peaks in the Santa Ana Mountains. Five miles of hiking, biking, and equestrian trails weave through the park, connecting the canyons, hills, and overlooks.
