Death in Kisumu

A domestic dispute turned tragic in Kisumus Kona Legio estate after a 22 year old man allegedly committed suicide on Sunday night. According to neighbours the man and his wife had a violent altercation during the night before his lifeless body was discovered this morning dangling from an iron box cable.

incidents like this are too dramatic for the kids and even some adults. if we had a police force in kenya, the would secure the area and keep people far away from the scene. there is nothing for people to gain from looking at a dead body. THE MEDIA IN KENYA LIKES SHOWING US DEAD BODIES, IT IS NOT GOOD FOR THE KIDS. SHOW THE BODY AFTER IT HAS BE COVERED WITH A BLANKET OR A SHEET, WE STILL GET THE POINT. THE DEAD SHOULD BE RESPECTED. POSTING PICTURES ONLINE IS NOT A GOOD THING FOR ANYONE

These gentlemen may not have had the opportunity to be taught Swahili formally and if they did, most likely their teachers were untrained. Couple that with the influence of their native language, you should be congratulating them for being able to communicate satisfactorily in Swahili.
