It's important not to make the C#5 into a minor. This is the point in the song where it departs from minor and the instruments may actually be playing C# major. I like to play the 5 for thtis because the vocals sing the minor third which creates a tension b/w the major and minor and send it to nowhere land (or cloud cuckoo land). I think the 5 chord accomplishes the sound for an acoustic version.
