just set my grow light up a couple of weeks ago trying it out for the first time.

these t5s are good for cloning, but thats about it.. in time you will want at least a 400 watt hid ... its not that much more wattage and the results are way better.. plus the bulbs allways burn out and need to be replaced, and the replacement bulbs arent nearly as good.

yea I already want a 8 bulb fixture and i know the hid are the best but from what I remember they were expensive.

T5 are used for alot, but most commonly cloning or seedlings. I've used for both stages a few times, but a high watt hps is defiantly better for flowering. people would use t5's whole way through growing if it was good for flowering (not to say it's not worth try'n yourself).people suggest hps during flowering bc they have observed its most efficient per watt for growing. Although it does sound like LED may have a chance to be more grams per watt in future.

depends the plant, but ost defiantly would thrive under this light. these are usually used for seedlings or clones during first few weeks
