Theres no stopping the blue bags now. Town officials say theyre ready for the start of the towns new pay-as-you-throw trash service beginning Wednesday, April 2, although they expect a few bumps during the initial phase of the program.
Were prepared and ready to go, said Town Manager Richard MacDonald. While there may be some kinks to work out during the first few weeks, MacDonald said the sales of the blue town-trash bags are going well and the transfer station employees are prepared for any questions.
