Home Of The Brave

A slideshow inspired by AmCat's "Home of the Brave" song. When I heard the piece, I was moved to compile imagery from the war. On a human level, we're all on the same side, experiencing the same human emotions, and though some good has come from it, we just all need to find peace already, in my opinion. This is the opinion and inspiration of myself only and does not necessarily reflect the thoughts or opinions of AmCat. Their work just inspired this in me, as did the bravery and strength I saw in the pictures. I hope in watching it you're as moved as I was in making it. Peace. JG

Most people want the war to end when they here about the death in Iraq. I feel like we need to be there and make a difference. I feel like I should be there too, helping rather than complaining. Some people can't respect that our boys are doing there job, and they're doing it as best they can too. There's too much negativity bred by the media, they fail to cover the "borring" stories about the successes of our efforts. All they manage to cover is this many died here and this many there.
