Dr. Iris Carlton-LaNey, Professor of Social Work at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill shares her reflections on using Sakai to develop a fully online, self-paced course to introduce students to the history of oppression. Sakai allowed her to pull in a variety of content types such as podcasts and videos -- in addition to text -- to make the course more engaging.
