Hiho, this is a video recorded with my Nokia E70, therefore terrible quality.
I am demonstrating GTA IV 1.02 running smoothly on the LG P310 Tarsia, 13,3" subnotebook, weight 1,64Kg.

One hand is holding the camera, the other one tries to play the game using the X360-Controller, not very successful, as u can see

nevertheless, enjoy!

Specs of the P310 in this Video:
Core2Duo P9500 2,53GHz (Penryn 9*266)
4GB DDR3-1066
9600m GT 512MB GDDR3 500/800 !overclocked to 725/1000!
Vista32 SP1

  • i have the same P310 and if you want to get some more fps google "laptop2video".

It provides modified drivers. the fps increase is significant.

My gta4 is not lagging like yours.

  • btw how u get mem to 1062 .. mine cant pass 1000 haha.. even 950 not too stable i tihnk

  • 725 not stable in artifact test .. but can play GTA IV lol .. anyway i lowered it to 700/900/1450.. around 25 fps in benchmark test

  • mine is acer .. almost same specs as yours.. 9600m gt but OC to 700/900/1450, core/mem/shader. i get bout 25 fps on all settings lowest... view n vehicle density 25 or 30 cant remember. If u dont oc I think u would get bout 20 fps.. its playable but might lag abit.. but playable

  • guys sorry for OT but.

    did u know compal laptops?

    c2d 2x2.0 3mb

    3 gb ram

    gf 9600m gt 512

can this gonna make gta playable?

  • not sure if stable .. havn ran the atitool, rivatuner screwing up for me too. so using nvidia performance lol. played for 3 hours+ temp goes to 86.. havn tried to OC cpu, might try.

  • 725 stable in artefact test programs? not bad

as i said before, on ur notebook the game is highly limited by the CPU

better u try to overclock the CPU than the GPU

  • n1, now add some CPU stress (prime 95) to simulate the maximum temp u'll get while gaming
