  • I think it's a lot better than some of the amateurish and lackadaisical attempts by other Media and Film students. You clearly strived to produce this and your endeavours are required for a career in the field of Film Production. Good effort. :)

  • @Thesurus05 Thanks for the kind words, means a lot! :)

  • @TotallyAwesomeSkits No problem. But I would take some suggestions into account if you want to achieve top marks. :)

  • @Thesurus05 Will be ;) This was a first draft, got some pickups over the week and just need to re edit it together. Should re-upload the final piece in January :-)

  • @TheHighTechCompany What a fucking nob head.

  • omg, that guy is mean!

do they understand this is just coursework? lmao!

i think its good dw :)

  • @TheHighTechCompany The work will be colour graded when I re-edit after the holidays, definately wanted to sort out colour correction as I didn't do it on my first draft as you've seen. You say the muzzle flash is too small, yet when it is bigger it looks worse, so that is why I opted for smaller in the end :) Thanks for your suggestions, will be making sure I take them into account when I re-edit after Christmas!

  • @TotallyAwesomeSkits Yes i do, colour grade your work, it will be far more professional. second if possible add a 2:35:1 anamorphic crop ratio, this is what most current movies work with. Now for your effects the blood splatter was just plain awful, I suggest finding another blood splatter and make sure timing is correct, the muzzle flash is too small and looks fake, add a Gaussian blur and increase brightness on one of the gunshot layer. you could also try a vignette to increase tension.

  • @TheHighTechCompany Sorry to hear you thought it was so crap. Any areas you could specify on? Going to be re-doing some scenes next week, so Constructive Criticism is useful :)

  • @mjelf15 Like your comment ;) Constructive Criticism is welcome, as I can actually improve from that.
