This fan (actually 2 of them - one facing in and one facing out with only 1 operational) LEDs were blue and white, and flashed as seen here.
I removed the original opperational fans from within the Thermaltake UFO fan housings and switched out the blue LEDs for green LEDs.
The 2 UFO fans had the silver grills removed prior to being painted black.
The next step was to take a regular fan and gut it as well. (to be a spacer for one side of the plex window).
I then used a high revolution/output fan on one side.
In all, the order of the new fan unit is below, going from outside the case inwards.
1)UFO fan
2)Spacer
3)Plexiglass (hole cut out for air flow)
4)Zelman fan
5)UFO fan
The computer case is the Lian Li cube case. Many of the parts were picked so not to over power each others look, while retaining a simplistic "Borg-like" technology that you might find on a borg ship. Looks better in the dark or low light, just like most borg stuff.
you totally assimilated that computer ;)

From the looks of it, he used 2 of these to get a "mirror effect" on each side of the plexi-glass. From the one I had, the fan that was stock was not that great on air flow, but to gut it and replace with a zelman fan, which is a better fan (imo). Wish we could see a full of this tho, so others can have an idea of the placing of the power wires and such.
Hats off dude, keep it up.
