He is not that crazy. Many places in the USA use flashing traffic lights at night when there are not many people on the road. Also, I have been to other countries that use the 'optional' stop sign and it works fine. If no one is around, why stop? The intersection in the video clearly doesn't need to be an all way stop. Seems redundant to me but I have not been there so I can't say for sure.

he's actually somewhat right about the whole 'sign conspiracy' theory, when a sign is put up it costs the city money which is paid for by the people of the city in taxes, when we pay taxes 100% of that money for the sign wont actually go to the sign, usually, unless the mayor and governor are saints - which they usually aren't
