xcommetaries is actually correct. Windows 7 is new, therefore it is unstable and lacks compatibility with many applications and devices. Windows XP is well established and is the most compatible operating system around. There is too much hype about Windows 7, i won't be using it for many years until it is trustworthy.
I advise trying to install Dazzle on a fresh installation of Windows XP.
I have never used Dazzle before and therefore i am only able to give very general advice.
