  • Why are there so many polygons. If you're using a Normal map anyway, that's a whole lot of polygons for an almost planar model. Would be nice to see your wireframes too.

  • @ThatTyro - The roof tiles are modeled separately. Great idea with the wireframes. I also took a look at my own website and it seems that I didn't add any wireframes for this model. Thanks for the comment. I really have to update the site with the work that I've been doing recently.

  • @ahriman3d Christ, that's a lot of work for your computer. If you're making something similar in the future, try putting a lot of detail into the outer edges of the roof and make everything on the faces of the roof more planar, maybe a normal map here and there, and it will give you the illusion of a detailed 3d model because of the edges being detailed.
