I've seen as some people do a pacifist run without dieing or bombing. I even saw someone to the extra stage to The Story of Eastern Wonder Land (said to be the hardest extra stage ever because you can't see your hitbox, or focus) while only moving vertically.

Called killer reflexes, bro. If you played Touhou, you'd know that Reimu and Marisa are both total fucking bad-asses, and some martial artist just can't comete.
