This is my second hi-hat, it is a RUDE/Alpha combo. The bottom is from my first Paiste hi-hat, a Paiste Alpha Medium Hi-Hat, from 1997. Very versatile pair.
I'm testing my new Roland Octa-Capture interface. I recorded this video using one Audix ADX51 Condenser overhead microphone and an Audix d6 on the bass drum. No EQ at all, flat sound from the mics. I also used a Sony HX1 camera, Adobe Premiere and Cakewalk Sonar LE to record the audio/video.
Equipment list:
Pearl Vision VBL - Birch
22x18" Bass Drum (Evans EMAD/EQ3)
14x5.5" Sensitone Steel Snare Drum (Evans G1 Clear/Hazy 300)
Paiste Alpha Medium Hi-Hat Bottom (TOP)
Paiste RUDE Hi-hat (BOTTOM)
Audix ADX51
Audix d6
Roland Octa-Capture

@FaithIsAccidental I normally play them inverted, the RUDE on top, but I also like this combination, great to play funk! Thanks!
