  • beautiful

  • Thanks!

  • Dear Jamie,You have a good state of mind here.Practice making each gesture have a clear mountain and valley. You can use dynamics and or timing to achieve that. Both together are best.Best Wishes,Smith

  • Thanks for complements! I'll be playing more De Visee soon.

    Best wishes,

    Jamie

  • Bravo! The final chord here (and generally all chords in this style) should be played as an Arpeggio. The thumb strokes only the bass note(s). Regards, Martin

  • Thanks Martin,

I normally do Apreggios in most pieces but in this one the book gave a strum symbol - I said I was dubious with the book :(. Thanks for pointing it out - I'll keep that in mind for the future.

    Jamie

  • @CharlesDickens99 Lully Rameau Charpentier at least

  • @CharlesDickens99 Lully, Rameau, Charpentier, Marais, Couperin at least

  • In the last two bars of the piece there are trills to be added.

  • Robert de Visee might be the greatest ever French Composer. Better than Gonoud, Berlioz, Satie etc. What other French composers from this period are worth listening to? Can anyone help me out here?
