Baby convicts eating Algae tablet

These are my baby convict cichlids eating an algae tablet. they seem to like it more than than flake food. Yes I know I have algae in my tank I'm not blind so no need to comment on it.

hey!

how long til they atarted eating??, my convict batch just hatched and they are not eating the flakes, its been a week o0

@Surge3k You need to powder up the flake food and suck it up with some water in a turkey baster or something like that and squirt it down where the babies are.  Chances are you will have some start dying if not. Sometimes the parents will take food in their mouths and spit it out for the babies, but better safe than sorry. You'll have to bear through the parents nipping at you unless you get a baster that's long enough. =)

That 500 is POWERFULL !!! I did a throttle pump with it and WOW !!! I just got a Futaba GY-401 to put on it. We just have a little 10gal aquarium here. How big was the aquarium you had when you lived here?

@djcarld It was just a twenty gallon. I have a 28 gallon saltwater aquarium now too!! I traded an old laptop for it. It is awesome. A GY huh? You suck!!!! How's the EXI comin? Notice any difference in tail authority?

Yes !!! It has plenty of tail authority !!!!! It's getting nice here, so I went flying the other day. Joe totaled a scale C-119 Boxcar !!! I LOVE my new EXI 450 and 500 !!!
