Is the brightness setting on the Adam at max in this video? It does indeed seem pretty dim compared to the others. How do photos/pictures look when you turn off the backlighting?

Right .so the adam does not do well compared to e-ink or a piece of paper. I allready knew this, and I assume just about everyone else did aswell. What I REALLY would like to know is how the actual reading-experience is in PQ-mode. on a bed with bad light at an angle or something, and not in massive direct studiolight. In this vid, the PQ looks suprisingly good compared to what a lot of the hysteric teenagers have been writing in their reviews. So, can you read in PQ mode on it, and is it comfy?

@tokrika Yes its fine, the Adam Pixel QI is different from other computers that use it, because of the way Notion Ink uses their glass technology. They basically have 2 layers of glass which makes the Pixel QI not as evident as single screens employing the technology. Personally I don't like that mode, its only useful in direct light.

So spill it. Which tablet / reader do you feel is the most product for the money? Is the Adam worth it to have the HDMI out?

@Techknowatlas They both have their virtues, adam is one of the best android tablets for pure specs and hdmi out 2 usb outs, while the ipad as none of those things. Although Apple has better apps via app store.
