Nov 11 - The White House on Tuesday said it was open to considering any proposals from Congress to accelerate loans to the auto industry.President-elect Barack Obama reportedly raised the issue of additional help for the auto industry -- perhaps an additional $25 billion -- in a meeting with President Bush on Monday. Jon Decker reports.

  • CNN also has news showing toyota, honda, nissan , mitsubishi, kia, hyundai, subaru, oppened plants in the US creating thousand of jobs.

    while ford gm chrysler exported jobs to canada, korea, brazil and mexico for example

    gmc/trucks made in canada

    chevy aveo korea

    chrysler made a deal with chery automobile of CHINA last year to import chinese cars badged as chrysler but deal is off as chrysler is bankrupt

  • CNN did a short news listing re: Ford and GM's contributions to the relief and recovery efforts in New York and Washington after 911, the findings are as follows:Ford- $10 million plus matching employee contributions,GM-$10 million plus matching employee contributions,Chrysler- $10 million. Volkswagen-$2 million,Hyundai- $300,000 then audi, bmw,fiat, Mitsubushi, HONDA, nissan Porsche,Subaru,Suzuki and TOYOTA-Nothing!! I guess that is the American way? Buy Japanese.lol
