Yup... a classic POS (in my experience at least). Mine had one problem, after another, after another, after another... All of the following had to be replaced within 70,000 miles: Radiator A/C Compressor Blower Motor Hubs Horn ALL Weatherstripping Distributor Water Pump Alternator Torque Converter (VERY common problem among Corsicas) Heater Core Instrument Cluster HVAC Control Module Cruise Control Module Master Cylinder Windshield Washer Motor ..and much more. That car was a pile of shit.

I wish chevy would rebuild the Heartbeat slogan, isntead of this new Chevy Runs Deep. I thought they werent gonna say "Chevy" anymore! I love Corsica. Oh yeah, i want to make a spoof of this, and the 1980 citation commercial for the new Cruze!

My mom has this car in red... It is so small. No space to fit your feet! I kinda hate it. We're suppose to get another car today so me and my dad can go places while my mom is at work all day. we might get a Ford Explorer, now that would be nice. I had one once but we got rid of it. :D

its like back to the future

You know you're getting old when people are nostalgic about a Corsica. What a heap that car was. A dump truck has better driving dynamics.

Yeah, i just got an 88 with the CL package. Its a nice car, its still got under a 100k miles. I like it a lot

CL trim? Pretty rare I say....
I actually had an 88 (no trim level). Had the rare column-mounted shifter and pillar-mounted seatbelts!

i drive one, and I am far from poor!

More like back when car commercials didn't end with a bunch of numbers and a lease offer....

Until I was 6 I lived in NYC and my parents would rent Corsicas fairly often to travel out of the city I remember them very well.

Indeed, the Corsica was a very popular car with rental fleets. I know that for the Corsica and Beretta were sold exclusively to rental fleets for their first year on the market, to which then they were offered for sale to dealers.

It may have been advanced in terms of GM products (It made leaps and bounds over previous GM products), but I doubt if it was anymore advanced than the Ford Taurus, which was essentially the car of the future at the time.
