  • booo.... what a tease indeed. how about someone do one single proper demo of the code for once (other than the spacey r&b demos on the SE site), that way we know whether we should blow 5k or not.. I dunno just a thought

  • We appreciate your feedback. The owner just walked buy and said, "he's right, we need to do a proper demo." What would you like to see in our Demo Video? We would be happy to cover whatever features you want.

  • This thing is a freaking monster synth in a box!

  • well Ive got my harpsichord up for sale ..if anyone is interested...Im thinking of a Omega/ Code 8 ...would even consider a trade ..would prefer a warranty on the unit if possible..

  • Get a musician to do a full on trance/techno tune, heavy sequencer bass lines with delay and filter crazy twists arp spirals pads bigger than planets and spaced out code specials, and dont worry about using samples for the rhythm section, people want to hear what this sounds like in a full track, not doing a full track itself its only 8 notes, and tracks sound better with more than one instrument anyway. slap it through some basic mastering and then we can hear it.

    Thank You

  • The Omega/Code, on paper, seems to be a modernized OB, MemMoog, CS80, Jup8, Voyetra 8, etc. I agree with other posts, and let this wonder box "shoot it out" with these classics. It's got to be more stable than it's predecessors, that's for sure. But lets hear a mix of pads: creamy, silky, analog strings. The warm thunderous lower frequency tones. And, the aggressive, razor-sharp leads that the classics provided. Not every synth demo should be geared towards the dance/hip hot crowd either...

  • @maccagrabme agreed... without decent polysynth this demo is quite... untypical for what you would use an omega 8 in the first place. but don't forget, the omega can do way more than the jp8.

  • REALY AMAZING ....

  • This is the best demo for a synth i've ever seen, great track reminiscent of noise unit / fla.

  • What you need to do to demo this is to put it side by side with something like the Jupiter 8 and play a range of music from the 80's to current dance, particularly focusing on the bottom end and atmospheric pads. I think people judge a synth's capabilities by comparing it to the classics. Everyone wants a Jupiter 8 so is this any better, prove it in a demo!

  • i'm gonna buy that thing! no criminal way to do it by the way! jajaja ∂= )

  • I am of same opinion for the demo, a variety of pads would be more interesting. C.O.D.E. is a powerful machine polyphonic, I would also like to hear examples of polyphonic playing manually. I would like to replace my OB-8 with a new generation of polyphonic... may be the C.O.D.E.
