another Manson - celebrity connection.. Manson wrote the lyrics to "Sweet Child Of Mine" made by Guns n Roses. They nearly did not put it on the album, but decided too and gave all royalties from it to the famiiies of the Manson Murderer's

Not completely true. Charles Manson recorded an album called "Lie" in '67-'68. G & R, Beach Boys, & Marilyn Manson have all sampled/covered songs from this album. G&R did a cover version of the song "Look At UR Game, Girl". Axl put the song on G & Rs "Spaghetti Incident" album. Manson's "Lie" has been reissued several times since the murders, with all proceeds/royalties from the re-releases going 2 the California fund 4 victims of violent crime & 2 the family of Manson victim Wojciech Frykowski.

So sad that such a horrific and senseless savage murder had to magnify the existence of a very beautiful Sharon Tate. Mrs. Tate-polanski was not only obviously gorgeous, but a genuinely nice person as well. This brutal murder will haunt my visions until my last breath.

There many direct & indirect links between the Manson family mambers, the Tate victims, & the major names in the SoCal 60's music scene like The Mamas & the Papas, The Byrds, & The Beach Boys. The Manson family may not have personally known any of their victims, but there were friends & acquaintances between the 2 groups, which is Y the choosing of the Cielo Drive house & the LaBianca house were random but not really random

Sharon Tate would come a close 30th to Michelle Phillips for being pretty. Michelle honestly would leave Sharon far in the dust when it came to looks and the voice.

Yep Sharon will be eternally young! she was beautiful, and what I heard kind - gone too soon. RIP Sharon and your son Paul x
