  • beautiful, any suggestions to a new fan of this music/this song?

  • It's a bit more "contemporary" in style, but check out Bernstein's "I Hate Music" and "La Bonne Cuisine". Also, Stravinsky's "Octet" and Schubert's "QuartetSatz". And any of the Handel's "Concerto Grosso" (my personal favorite is Op 12, No.2).

    Good luck!!

  • might be a slovakian folk song but it is composed by carl nielsen

  • This is a Slovak-Slovenian folk song, which I used to sing in my Village in Slovenia in eaqrly 1950"s. It is an indescribably beautiful song, and you knew the lirics, for sure you would break into tears. I don't see what it has to do with Bernstein's dissonant garbage.

  • really beautiful music..

  • Muy bien. Muchos gracias. ;)
